UK & Paris Trip

I shall make a overall summary of this trip or else it will be too lengthy on wordpress. Those who wanna know the details can ask me personally. :)

I have visited many places of interest in both cities and I feel that I still prefer UK. Paris doesn’t lose out in terms of its architecture and transportation system. The area that makes the difference is the people. Not to criticise or pinpoint any particular nationality here but in my humble opinion, I feel the British are more friendly than the French. Perhaps I am Asian that’s why I was treated that way. But nonetheless, I will still go to Paris in time to come because I have yet to visit The Disneyland there!

Being able to see the lovely cottages and experience the serene environment first hand is really exhilarating. The sky is blue, the grass is green, the water is clear and the clouds are white! It is so beautiful I sometimes find it kinda breathtaking too. And I did a fair bit of people-watching too. I admit the people in Paris are really dressed up very well. Everyone brings out their own X-factor. You don’t get to see alot of well-dressed people in Singapore mind you. So that’s why in the streets of UK and Paris, the way people dress up are so pleasant to my eyes.

If given another chance, I will definitely go again. Although both are not as safe as Singapore, the scenery is just too alluring to resist. Also, I would love to visit Switzerland REAL soon.

That’s all peeps. Shall update regarding my Hanoi trip in roughly a month’s time! ;)

Holidays

Its been some time since I last blogged. As I have some time to spare while masking, shall just update you guys what I have been up to.

Oh well, work for me is extended until end aug instead of end july. Looking on the bright side, I can earn more (which is really essential as I need to feed my ferocious appetite for clothes and shoes nw and then). Perhaps it is a gd thing afterall as at least I can kill time and before I know it, my feet will land on UK/Paris land!  :)

Next up, the following month after my short europe trip is a trip to Vietnam in Oct. Don’t think I will spend a lot there. Just wanna travel whenever I can. It seems to me that more and more ppl are heading to Vietnam. Wonder why.

My aim next year is to go to Taiwan, Korea and hopefully Australia again. We shall see! I feel that since I am blessed with an abled body and the financials to travel, why explore when young?

The world is waiting for me to discover. Singapore is just too small. I need to venture out and experience life out there. Doing this makes me feel I am LIVING.

Shimin’s 21st + Desaru

on 7th Aug (fri), met S3 earlier for cycling and after that then head to Shimin’s 21st birthday party venue. saw many familiar faces and chatted with them to catch up the conversations we have lost for like 2 years? hehe. but i really had a nice and enjoyable day. Thanks to S3!
