work is more hectic than usual especially with the promo organised by the management. oh well, there is nothing i can do but fall prey to the endless crowds and similar questions asking me if the promo is still valid when it is clearly stated that it is for the FIRST 100 CUSTOMERS!!! Imagine receiving this enquiry when it is already 6pm at night. oh gosh! urgh.

i was like working like a robot coz we can’t eat, drink or even go to the toilet! non stop talking also. And i can feel that my brain is not working, it is just my hands and legs that will bring me automatically to the customer waiting at the ordering area and my hands which are the ones that stretch out to get the meat, veg and sauce.

ok. it sounds like i am complaining. well, to a small extent.

some customers are nice and understand that we had a tough day becoz of the promo. some just don’t. sometimes i hope those who don’t understand have a taste of how the job is like. Only then will they understand the situation and perhaps be nicer? lol. i sound quite demanding here but some customers are just so demanding that you feel like screaming and shouting afterwards. Those who experienced it before should understand what i mean

oh well, i guess this is part of life. there are always nice and unpleasant moments. And i guess unpleasant happenings are just there to spice up my life…

In this hot climate of Singapore’s many girls will be spotted wearing shorts almost all the time. I myself is one of the girls who like to wear shorts because I find it very convenient and suitable for the weather here.

This topic has been covered by The Straits Times and I read the replies today. Agreed with one but disagreed with the rest.

Decided to share my point of view here with you guys.

Firstly, i find it appropriate to wear shorts because different material portray how ”formal” it can be. For example, denim shorts will seem to be more casual to me, whereas black shorts with reasonably thick material is kinda formal already. Black shorts can be worn to town or anywhere as long as you have a dressy top to match it with. Thus, i feel that not all shorts give the impression that it is informal. it largely depends on the top. If the wearer dons on a dressy top with shorts, most of the people will notice the top and not the shorts.

Next, if the girls have the assets to show off their long, slim, toned legs then why not? As long as they feel confident in wearing shorts, i don’t see what’s wrong in wearing. Besides, if you have toned legs, I believe you will want to show the world that your toned legs is the result of the hardwork paid off by going to the gym.

What I want to say is that wearing shorts is not informal, it just depends on how one matches it. And also i find that shorts are worn by confident people and this is one positive attribute to be noted of.

Met dear as usual during the weekends for our partor!

On saturday, we headed to bugis. Went to Sim Lim square to find dear’s army friend. Chatted for a while and then met Robin at Parco Bugis Junction for dinner.

Oh gosh, I am simply disppointed with the food at Seafood Harvest.

The Seafood platter that we ordered for two turned out to be like FLOUR platter for two! We all ate until tired. And this is the first time I have this feeling. Same for dear too!

After that went back home le.

Next day, met dear too. Watched Trannsformers 2 with him at home and then just lazed at his house. In between, we watched Tv programmes, makan at home too.

Then before sending me home, we had ice cream from icekimo at Sin Ming.

I find it not bad for the cookies and cream flavour but as for the nutella, both dear and me find that there is a lingering taste of durian. Beats me.

Lastly, home sweet home! Can’t wait to see dear again on Wednesday! whee!
